I read the previous views before ordering, including one where the instructor had previous law enforcement expierence. This book was nothing more then academic information without any real clear and consise direction on how investigations are conducted. I should of known when doing the BIO on the authors, turns out neither have ever been cops. For the instructor who had pevious law enforcement expierence, I don't know where you worked before partner, but it must of been somewhere in sleepy hollow. The book does not detail anything from a visual practiontioner point of view. Criminal Investigations is practical, not academic. Good luck with whoever has to buy it in the future

The Amazon order arrived ahead of schedule and it was the exact edition needed for the class. Because I chose to rent, I was nervous about the return, but returning it was a breeze.
