About the Author
Katy Evans grew up with books and book-boyfriends until she found a real sexy boyfriend to love, married him, and now they are hard at work on their own happily ever after. Katy loves her family and friends, and she also loves reading, walking, baking, and being consumed by her characters until she reaches “The End.” Which is, hopefully, only the beginning...

This book is horrible. I don't understand what the writer was trying to do with this book. This rant is going to have many spoilers: You're warned.
This book has brought on so much annoyance and boredom that I couldn't even finish it. *Gasp* I thought the overly descriptive paragraphs and fluffy "Oh my God he's soooooo hot" pre-teen poetics were tiresome. Seriously, Brooke is a College Graduate? Katy Evans really needs to do some better research, perhaps even take a writing class. I couldn't get past chapter after chapter of those fluffy descriptions of how "Hot, lick-able and muscled" Remy was. (Hello! We know how hot he is that's why we PURCHASED the second book you imbecile). I also hated how the author would over-use the word proprietary. Don't use the word MINE as the bases of the book if you're wanting to throw in words like proprietary to show your readers how "Evolved you are" in vocabulary. There were dozens of things I didn't give a crap about in this book. To Remy's lick-able abs, muscled arms and description after description of Brooke's soaked panties. 90% of this book is descriptions. The other 10% was the boring and tedious story plot. (Did anyone else not realize this was the SAME story as REAL) How can I be the only one who doesn't grasp that the plot didn't change at all? Here were some of the major problems with this book (and writing).
Brooke, she's a whiny, insecure little girl. Every time she said "He scented me" I wanted to punch the drama queen in her made up nose. They have more sex than in any book I've EVER read. It isn't even good sex. It's the same god damn boring sex. I skipped every sex scene after the first 5 repetitive sex scenes I read. Another big problem was the fight scenes.
