Why this got an average of 41/2 stars I don't know. As a convert from a PC to the Mac, I was looking for a good simple bridge to help. Dummies disappoints, I found the "Missing Manual" Switching From A PC to A Mac,to be far more instructional. David Pogue (Author) book does a great job of explaining the way a Mac handles the equivalent of a PC/Windows routine. And the index is useable. I want to hit the index when I find a problem or question to be answered or explained. Dummies lacks the detail,the simple crisp writing that the Pogue "Missing Manual" has.
