I gave this to my son for Christmas. He recently purchased his first boat. This is THE book for beginners. Although my son is a mechanic he found this book to be of great value with information on boat safety as well as maintenance. The book caught my eye because it is endorsed by the Coast Guard. My son could barely keep his head out of it on Christmas day.
