This literary analysis is of The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. I run a weekly book club with friends in the neighborhood. We are all busy moms so time is pretty scarce for us. The review went through each chapter of the book in precise detail.
It is a very powerful story that hits home to some of us because we have children of that same age group. In addition, a few of us have lost relatives to cancer. Personally, my sister died of lung cancer. Losing a loved one to this disease takes a toll on you both physically and mentally.
This amazing analysis goes in depth when describing each character in the book. I highly recommend this stunning review.

I'm an avid tumblr user, and everywhere you turn, it's like there's always someone singing John Green's praises. After hearing about The Fault in Our Stars for about the thousandth time, I decided to purchase the book and give it a go. The book is okay, but I honestly didn't see why so many people were going wild about it. It's a love story, of course, and a heartbreaking one at that... but I really felt as if I just wasn't getting IT. I purchased this review because I was confident I was missing something 'big', and I wanted to know what it was. The analysis is thorough, and it definitely pointed out a few things that I missed when reading the actual book. It was very interesting to re-read the book, chapter by chapter, and compare it with this analysis as I went. I found that there were times when I wasn't giving the book the attention it deserved, and in turn, I was missing things that would come into play later. In the end, The Fault in Our Stars is just an okay book, but this analysis did a good job of making it just a little more interesting.
