This is a wonderful comprehensive view of the different lenses through which we view others and oppress others. It's pretty heavy reading, so plan on spending a lot of time with it. Great for anyone who is in any type of helping profession: teachers, police officers, doctors, nurses, counselors, etc.

I rated this book with 5 stars because this text book is easy to read and understand. I author choose topics that are relevant and interesting. The readings are also not very long so students who have a lot of home work will not feel overwhelmed.
